Freweini had her violin recital tonight. She played "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" a couple of different ways. She's been taking a 30 minute lesson each Thursday after school since January. It's amazing how quick she picks new things up - if you can show her how to do it, she can. That's what the beginning of the Suzuki method is - straight copying the teacher. And she does it beautifully. Our neighbor, Shira, plays the violin (who knew?!) and has been over a couple of times to practice with F. She had a great support group at her recital tonight - me, Gigi, Shira, and David and Drue. Freweini was a good performer and a great audience member, too!
